Building a new, digital world
Golden dunes, wavy ridges, and an organic assembly line of silvery globes define my first venture into the world of NFTs: The Endless Golden Sea. A collection of 6 unique renders that highlight different variations on on a theme, alongside several pieces of motion graphics that expand on that theme and add rhythmic loops to the world.
These started with pen and paper, and were built with inspiration from sand dunes, classic side-scrolling video games, alpine views, and metal.
Waves for days
The following renders showcase a deep utilization of PBR textures, generative design for landscapes, and layered elements to highlight certain scenes. They lead the experience in a certain direction, or have inherit human meaning (such as frustration, isolation, and being stuck) without being literal and saying it out-loud.
Sea in motion
Creating a variety of looping animations helped bring this collection together, and into a different language for users to appreciate. From sketches to 3D animation, this collection is a complete world anyone can appreciate, relate to, and invest in.
